We the People … Singing & Speaking Truth
Sunday, May 3 at 4:00 PM
First Universalist Church, Minneapolis
At a time when truth, justice, and democracy are being challenged, artists continue to help us make meaning, build connection, and call each other forward.
Join us for a powerful afternoon of spoken word and music rooted in resistance, reflection, and hope. Featuring texts from voices like Martin Luther King Jr., Amanda Gorman, Maya Angelou, and foundational documents such as the Constitution and Declaration of Independence—woven together with music that has long inspired movements for change.
Hosted by actress Linda Kelsey and featuring an extraordinary lineup of Twin Cities performers, this gathering invites you not just to listen—but to feel, to sing, and to stand in community.
Come be part of something that nourishes the spirit and strengthens our shared commitment to the work ahead.
