Registration requested by the Monday prior for planning purposes. We offer a catered lunch, but attendees are also welcome to bring their own lunch.

Daytime Connections empowers older adults to live intentional, joyful, purposeful and spiritually fulfilled lives, by building a vibrant community and providing engaging programming that promotes conscious aging and fosters personal and spiritual growth.

Would you like to have a better understanding of the journey our Hmong American neighbors experienced to ultimately arrive and settle in Minnesota? Kao Kalia Yang is a Hmong American teacher, writer, and captivating speaker. She is the award-winning author of the memoirs The Latehomecomer, The Song Poet, Somewhere in the Unknown World, and Where Rivers Part, as well as seven books for children. She will speak, answer questions, and sign copies of her books. Magers & Quinn staff will be present as booksellers.
